Cory Asbury: podcast appearances and interviews

Cory Hunter Asbury, born October 15, 1985, is an American Christian musician, worship pastor, and songwriter. He began his career as an intern at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2005. Asbury collaborated with Matt Gilman on the album Holy in 2008 and released his first solo album, Let Me See Your Eyes, in 2009 through Forerunner Music. He contributed to numerous IHOPKC albums, performing songs such as Where I Belong, Shekinah, All Is for Your Glory, and Holy Ghost Party. In June 2012, Asbury moved to Colorado Springs to join New Life Church, initially serving as an associate worship pastor and participating in ensembles like Desperation Band and New Life Worship. After signing with Bethel Music in 2015, he debuted with the collective on the album Have It All in 2016. His profile increased with the release of Reckless Love in late 2017, a single that gained widespread recognition and was followed by his second full-length album, also titled Reckless Love, in early 2018. The album achieved commercial success and charted internationally, with the single Reckless Love earning a Grammy Award nomination in 2019 for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. Asbury's third studio album, To Love a Fool, was released on July 31, 2020, featuring singles such as The Father's House, Sparrows, and Dear God.
