Colin Cooper: podcast appearances and interviews

Colin Cooper is the Chair of the PCR Scientific Committee and is affiliated with Ochsner Health System. His professional background includes a career in football where he was a defender and played in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough. Over his playing career, he made more than 500 league appearances for these clubs and also competed in the Football League for Millwall and Sunderland. Cooper earned two caps for the England national team and previously represented England at the under-21 level in eight matches. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching, working within the Middlesbrough academy before progressing to the first team and briefly serving as a temporary manager in 2009. He later served as assistant manager at Bradford City and was appointed manager of Hartlepool United in 2013. In 2016, he joined the coaching staff of the England under-21 national team, working under former teammate Gareth Southgate.
