Clara Mattei: podcast appearances and interviews

Clara E. Mattei is an Italian economist and academic born in 1988. She specializes in the history of capitalism and explores the relationship between economic theories and technocratic policymaking. Mattei is a professor of economics at The New School for Social Research. In addition to her academic role, she is an author known for her work on economic topics. Since February 2025, she has served as the founding president of the Forum for Real Economic Emancipation at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Her research focuses on understanding the development of capitalist systems and examining how economic ideas influence policy decisions.
