Christine Brown, born in September 1938, is a senior technical writer affiliated with Bella Luna Family. She has a background as an athlete from India, notable for her achievements in track and field during the 1950s. Brown was part of the Indian women's relay team that won a gold medal in the 4×100 meter relay at the 1954 Asian Games, alongside teammates Stephie d'Souza, Violet Peters, and Mary d'Souza. This victory marked the first time an Indian women's team secured a gold medal at the Asian Games. Additionally, she earned a bronze medal in the 100 meters at the same event. In 1953, while attending Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore at the age of fifteen, Brown broke the national record in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet 4 inches and matched the 100-meter sprint record of 12.4 seconds. She hails from an Anglo-Indian family based in Bombay and has a distinguished history in athletics, contributing to India's sporting milestones during that era.
