Christian Larson: podcast appearances and interviews

Christian Larson is a Swedish film and music video director, editor, and photographer. His work includes music videos for artists such as Sigur Rós, Seinabo Sey, Kylie Minogue, and Icona Pop. Larson has also directed commercials and editorial content for a range of notable brands including Cartier, Pepsi, H M, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Beats by Dre, CDLP, L'Oreal, and Agent Provocateur. His 2010 documentary Take One gained cult status within the electronic dance music community and was described by The Times UK as being akin to 'Spinal Tap for the acid house generation.' In 2012, Larson wrote and directed Valtari, a short film featuring music by Sigur Rós and choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkoui. The film received multiple nominations and won a Swedish Grammy for Best Video in 2013, as well as Best Choreography at the UK Music Video Awards the same year. His first feature-length film Leave The World Behind was selected for the 2014 SXSW Film Festival and achieved commercial success by reaching number one in the worldwide documentary section on iTunes. Larson has collaborated frequently with director Jonas Åkerlund as a film editor, contributing to projects such as the HBO concert film On The Run, featuring Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and the music video Telephone with Lady Gaga. In addition to his filmmaking career, Larson co-founded CDLP, a Swedish premium men's underwear brand. The brand has received international recognition and is available through leading retailers worldwide.
