Chris Wilson: podcast appearances and interviews

Chris Wilson is an attorney and healthcare ethics consultant affiliated with Fairfield Real Estate Finance. Although he is primarily known for his professional work outside of entertainment, Wilson has a background in comedy and acting. He was a member of the sketch comedy duo Peter & Chris alongside Peter Carlone, and together they performed at notable events such as Just for Laughs and the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. In 2021, they launched a podcast called This Time It's Different. Wilson is also a cast member of the Canadian television show This Hour Has 22 Minutes, having joined in 2020 as a writer and supporting player and being promoted to full-time cast member in the 2023–24 season. His impersonation of Pierre Poilievre has become a recurring and significant aspect of his contribution to the show, especially in the lead-up to the 2025 Canadian federal election. Wilson has also portrayed Justin Trudeau and even acted as both Poilievre and Trudeau in the same sketch. His work with the show has earned him and his fellow cast members the Canadian Screen Award for Best Ensemble Performance in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program or Series in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, Wilson has appeared in various television series including Run the Burbs, Hudson & Rex, Murdoch Mysteries, and others. In 2024, he participated in the 19th season of America's Got Talent, performing a comedy magic act, though he received no applause from the judges. Wilson revealed in an interview that this appearance was orchestrated by the show's producers with a scripted backstory unrelated to his career in comedy.
