Chris Nash: podcast appearances and interviews

Chris Nash is the founding Professor of Journalism at Monash University. His academic career focuses on journalism studies and related fields. Nash has contributed to the development of journalism education and research at the university. He has been involved in various projects aimed at enhancing understanding of media practices and ethics. Prior to his academic career, Nash was a professional cricketer who represented Sussex and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Clubs over an 18-year period. He played first-class cricket for Sussex starting in 2002 and also represented Loughborough UCCE in 2003 and 2004. Initially an off-spin bowler and lower-order batsman, Nash later specialized as a batsman and often opened for Sussex. He was part of the Sussex team that secured the County Championship titles in 2006 and 2007. Nash scored his maiden first-class century in 2008. He ended his professional cricket career after the 2017 season, transitioning to a new role in private healthcare, and later played for Horsham in the Sussex League.
