Chris Berman: podcast appearances and interviews

Christopher James Berman, born on May 10, 1955, is an American sportscaster and author. He is widely recognized for his work with ESPN, where he has served as an anchor for SportsCenter since shortly after its launch in 1979 and has contributed to various other programs. Berman hosted ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown from 1985 to 2016 and has been involved with NFL Primetime since 1987, stepping down from some NFL roles in 2017 but continuing as a host under a multiyear contract signed in 2021. Additionally, he has anchored programs such as Monday Night Countdown, U.S. Open golf, and the Stanley Cup Final on ESPN and ABC Sports. Berman has also performed play-by-play commentary for select Major League Baseball games, including the Home Run Derby until 2016.
