Charlie H. Javice is a French and American businesswoman who founded the student financial aid application assistance company Frank. She gained recognition as an entrepreneur involved in digital financial services. In 2023, she and Olivier Amar, Frank's chief growth and acquisition officer, faced legal charges related to their business activities. They were accused of fraudulently inflating customer numbers during negotiations for the sale of Frank to JPMorgan Chase for 175 million dollars. Javice and Amar were indicted in Manhattan federal court on four counts, including securities fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy. They were found guilty on all counts in March 2025.
