Chad Connelly is the chief executive officer of Faith Wins. He is an American politician who previously served as chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party from May 2011 until June 2013. During his tenure, he resigned to assume a senior role at the Republican National Committee. In early 2016, Connelly ran as a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for South Carolina's 5th congressional district. He finished in fourth place out of seven candidates in the Republican primary, securing 14.1 percent of the vote with 5,546 votes out of 39,270. The incumbent elected in that race was Ralph Norman.
