Carl Lumbly: podcast appearances and interviews

Carl Winston Lumbly is an American actor born on August 14, 1951. He is known for his roles in television series such as M.A.N.T.I.S, which aired from 1994 to 1997, as well as in Cagney & Lacey from 1982 to 1988 and Alias from 2001 to 2006. Lumbly has appeared in various superhero franchises, including voicing Martian Manhunter in the DC Animated Universe. In addition, he portrayed M'yrnn J'onzz, the father of Martian Manhunter, in the television series Supergirl from 2017 to 2019. More recently, he has portrayed Isaiah Bradley, the first super soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in 2021 and in the film Captain America: Brave New World scheduled for 2025.
