Carl Honore: podcast appearances and interviews

Carl Honoré is a Canadian journalist born in Scotland, known for his work related to the Slow Movement. He authored the best-selling book In Praise of Slow in 2004, which explores the principles of the Slow Movement. In 2008, he published Under Pressure, a book advocating for slower, more relaxed approaches to parenting and education, promoting the concept of slow parenting. Honoré graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in History and Italian. His early career involved working with street children in Brazil, an experience that inspired his transition into journalism. Since 1991, he has reported across Europe and South America, including three years as a correspondent in Buenos Aires. His journalistic contributions have appeared in publications such as the Economist, Observer, American Way, National Post, Globe and Mail, Houston Chronicle, and the Miami Herald. He has also made television appearances on Fox and Friends and Dennis Miller. Honoré was the subject of a double-page feature in Newsweek. He resides in London with his wife, Miranda France, and their two children.
