Cameron McIntyre: podcast appearances and interviews

Cameron McIntyre, born on June 3, 1981, is a professor at Duke University. He is a former rugby union player who played for Canterbury in the Air New Zealand Cup and for the Crusaders in Super Rugby. During his playing career, McIntyre was known for his versatility, playing primarily as a fly-half and inside centre. He was part of the Canterbury and Crusaders squads that featured notable players such as Dan Carter and Andrew Mehrtens. McIntyre captained his club team, Marist/Albion, to a championship in the Christchurch premier competition. In 2006, he was a member of the Junior All Black team that won the Pacific Cup and earned the title of player of the tournament. Following the 2006 season, he moved to France to join Castres, where he played in 125 games in the Top 14 league. In 2013, McIntyre transferred to Japan to play for Toyota Verblitz in the Japanese Top League. After returning to New Zealand in 2015, he played a season for Canterbury. He is the great nephew of former All Blacks Bob Stuart and Kevin Stuart. As of 2026, McIntyre is listed as a Player Agent for the Auckland-based sports management company LittleGIANT.
