Lawrence R. Bubba Cunningham, born May 12, 1962, is an American athletic administrator known for his role as the NCAA Selection Committee Chair. He has served as the athletic director at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since November 2011. Prior to his tenure at North Carolina, Cunningham was the athletic director at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma from 2005 to 2011 and at Ball State University in Indiana from 2002 to 2005. His extensive experience in athletic administration has established him as a prominent figure in college sports administration.
