Brian Hughes, born on May 5, 1955, is a Canadian musician known for his work as a guitarist, incorporating elements of smooth jazz and Latin music into his style. In addition to the guitar, he plays the oud, bouzouki, and balalaika. Hughes has had a long-standing collaboration with singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt, working in the studio with her for over twenty years.
