Brandon Heath, born Brandon Heath Knell on July 21, 1978, is an American contemporary Christian musician with a career spanning multiple albums and hit singles. He has released eight studio albums including Don't Get Comfortable, What If We, Leaving Eden, Blue Mountain, No Turning Back, Faith Hope Love Repeat, Enough Already, and The Ache. Heath is best known for chart-topping singles such as I'm Not Who I Was and Give Me Your Eyes. His debut album, Don't Get Comfortable, produced the notable single Our God Reigns, which received a Dove Award nomination. His single I'm Not Who I Was achieved success on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, remaining number one for several weeks and earning two Dove nominations including Song of the Year. The album What If We featured the single Give Me Your Eyes, which became the second most-played song on the Christian CHR chart in 2008 and garnered two Dove Awards in 2009 for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year. Heath's Grammy-nominated album, the second release, was also recognized in the Gospel Album of the Year category. His fourth album Blue Mountain reached number nine on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Heath began songwriting as a teenager and initially released a compilation album, Early Stuff, in 2004.
