Boomer Esiason: podcast appearances and interviews

Norman Julius Esiason, known as Boomer Esiason, is an American former National Football League quarterback. He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins before being selected in the second round of the 1984 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. Esiason spent ten seasons with the Bengals and also played for the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. His most notable season was in 1988 when he earned the NFL Most Valuable Player award and led the Bengals to an appearance in Super Bowl XXIII, which ended in a close defeat. During his career, he received four Pro Bowl selections and was named a first-team All-Pro once. After nine seasons with Cincinnati, he played three seasons with the Jets and one with the Cardinals before returning to the Bengals for his final season in 1997. Following his retirement from professional football, Esiason became a football analyst, working for CBS Sports on The NFL Today and Showtime's Inside the NFL. He has also contributed to ABC, HBO, and Westwood One. Additionally, Esiason is known for hosting the morning sports radio program Boomer and Gio on WFAN in New York.
