Robert Lane Saget was an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, and television host. He portrayed Danny Tanner on the sitcom Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995, and reprised this role in the sequel Fuller House from 2016 to 2020. Saget also served as the original host of the television program America's Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997 and provided the voice of narrator Ted Mosby on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother between 2005 and 2014.
