William Oliver Campbell, born on July 7, 1959, is an American film and television actor. He gained early recognition for his recurring role as Luke Fuller on the television series Dynasty and starred as the titular character Cliff Secord, also known as The Rocketeer, in the 1991 superhero film The Rocketeer. During his career, Campbell has played various significant roles including Rick Sammler on the series Once and Again from 1999 to 2002, a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama. He has also portrayed Detective Joey Indelli on Crime Story, Dr. Jon Fielding in the miniseries Tales of the City and its sequels, Darren Richmond on The Killing, and Dr. Alan Farragut on Helix. Campbell starred as Detective John Cardinal on the Canadian CTV series Cardinal, a performance for which he received three Canadian Screen Awards. Additionally, his film work includes notable roles in Bram Stoker's Dracula, Gettysburg, and Enough. Currently, Campbell is affiliated with Barley and Vine.
