Bill Maher: podcast appearances and interviews

William Maher, born January 20, 1956, is an American television host, comedian, actor, and political commentator. He is known for his political satire and hosts the HBO talk show Real Time with Bill Maher, which has been on air since 2003. He also hosts the podcast Club Random, which began in 2022. Maher previously hosted the late-night show Politically Incorrect on ABC and Comedy Central from 1993 to 2002. He is often described as a moderate liberal and addresses various topics including religion, political correctness, and the mass media. His critical views of religion led to the creation of his 2008 documentary film Religulous. Maher is a supporter of animal rights and has served on the board of PETA since 1997, and he advocates for the legalization of cannabis, serving on the advisory board of NORML. In 2005, he ranked number 38 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians of all time, and he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
