Ben Shapiro is an American conservative political commentator, media host, attorney, and movie producer. He is known for hosting The Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio program. Shapiro is also the founder of I Hear Everything and hosts the MarTech Podcast. He has written columns for Creators Syndicate, Newsweek, and Ami Magazine, and served as editor emeritus for The Daily Wire, which he co-founded in 2015. From 2012 to 2016, he was editor-at-large of Breitbart News. Shapiro has authored 16 non-fiction books and has been recognized for his commentary on various political issues. His views are described as economically libertarian and socially conservative, and he is known for his critical stance on the alt-right movement. He opposes abortion, gun control, same-sex marriage, transgender rights, and the Affordable Care Act. Additionally, he supports capital punishment, tax cuts, and the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Shapiro has publicly condemned Hamas and has expressed support for Israel and the Israel Defense Forces in the context of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
