About Ben Scrivens
Ben Scrivens is the CEO and founder of Fright Rags. He is formerly a professional ice hockey player and is currently the team manager of the University of Denver Pioneers. During his playing career, Scrivens competed in the National Hockey League for teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers, and Montreal Canadiens. He played four years with the Cornell Big Red in ECAC Hockey, where he received notable accolades such as being named a first team All-American and ECAC Goaltender of the Year. Additionally, he was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Scrivens began his professional hockey career with the Reading Royals in the ECHL before being called up to the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League during the 2010–11 season.
