Belle Gibson: podcast appearances and interviews

Annabelle Natalie Gibson is an Australian who gained prominence as a health influencer and the creator of The Whole Pantry mobile app and its associated cookbook. She presented herself as a wellness guru advocating for natural and alternative health practices. During her career, Gibson made false claims regarding her health, asserting that she had been diagnosed with multiple cancer pathologies including brain cancer. She claimed to manage these conditions through diet, exercise, natural medicine, and alternative therapies. Gibson also alleged that she donated substantial parts of her income and company profits to various charities, claims which were later proven to be untrue. In an April 2015 interview, she admitted to fabricating her claims of having multiple cancers. Following investigations by Consumer Affairs Victoria, legal action was initiated against her in 2016. The Federal Court of Australia supported most of these claims in 2017, resulting in a fine of A$410,000, which Gibson has not paid as of March 2025.
