Beeban Tania Kidron, Baroness Kidron, born on May 2, 1961, is a British filmmaker, politician, and social activist. She has made significant contributions as an advocate for children's rights in the digital world, working to establish standards for online safety and privacy globally. Baroness Kidron holds a position as a member of the House of Lords where she sits as a crossbench peer. She is also an advisor to the Institute for Ethics in AI at Oxford University and serves as a commissioner on the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development. As the founder of the 5Rights Foundation, she has been actively involved in shaping policies and initiatives aimed at protecting children's rights online.

Prior to her appointment to the Lords, Kidron worked as a film director and producer, establishing herself in the film industry. She also founded the charity Filmclub, now known as Into Film, which aims to engage young people with film. In June 2025, she assumed the role of Honorary President of 5Rights Foundation, succeeding Sir Peter Wanless as chair.
