Bathsheba Demuth: podcast appearances and interviews

Bathsheba Rose Demuth is an American environmental historian and the Dean’s Associate Professor of History and Environment and Society at Brown University. Her academic work focuses on the study of the Russian and North American Arctic. Her interest in this region was sparked when she moved north of the Arctic Circle to the Yukon at the age of 18. During this time, she learned a broad array of survival skills in the taiga and tundra. Her experiences in the Arctic have informed her scholarly research and teaching, contributing to a deeper understanding of environmental and societal interactions in these polar regions.
