Barney Phillips: podcast appearances and interviews

Bernard Philip Ofner, known by his stage name Barney Phillips, was an American film, television, and radio actor. He was born on October 20, 1913, and passed away on August 17, 1982. Throughout his career, Phillips played a variety of roles across different media. He is notably recognized for his portrayal of Sgt. Ed Jacobs on the 1950s television series Dragnet. His television appearances in the 1960s included an episode of The Twilight Zone titled Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up? In this episode, he played a Venusian living undercover on Earth. Phillips also had supporting roles in other notable series, such as Major Doc Kaiser in the ABC military drama 12 O'Clock High and actor Fletcher Huff in the CBS series The Betty White Show during the 1970s.
