Ashley Dawson: podcast appearances and interviews

Ashley Dawson is a distinguished professor of English at the College of Staten Island and the CUNY Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He is an author and activist whose academic work centers on postcolonial studies, cultural studies, and environmental humanities, with a particular focus on histories and discourses related to migration. Dawson has been involved with the Social Text collective since 2004, contributing to its development and serving as co-editor of Social Text Online from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, he was appointed by the American Association of University Professors as editor of the Journal of Academic Freedom from 2012 to 2014.
