Armin Navabi: podcast appearances and interviews

Armin Navabi is an Iranian-Canadian ex-Muslim atheist, author, and podcaster based in Vancouver, Canada. Born on December 25, 1983, he is known for founding the online freethought community Atheist Republic in 2012. The organization is a Canada-based non-profit that has established hundreds of branches called 'consulates' in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, providing a platform for non-believers to connect in societies where irreligion, apostasy, and blasphemy are often criminalized and suppressed. Navabi authored the book Why There Is No God in 2014 and expanded his engagement in secular discourse through podcasting. In 2017, he became a co-host of the Secular Jihadists from the Middle East podcast along with Ali A. Rizvi, Yasmine Mohammad, and Faisal Saeed Al Mutar. The following year, the show was renamed Secular Jihadists for a Muslim Enlightenment, with Rizvi and Navabi continuing as co-hosts. His work focuses on promoting secularism and supporting non-believers worldwide, especially in regions with restrictive attitudes toward apostasy and irreligion.
