José Antonio Domínguez Banderas, professionally known as Antonio Banderas, is a Spanish actor born on August 10, 1960. He began his acting career in Málaga, performing at a small theater before gaining attention from director Pedro Almodóvar. Banderas made his film debut in the 1982 screwball comedy Labyrinth of Passion and has since collaborated on numerous films with Almodóvar, including Matador, Law of Desire, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, The Skin I Live In, and Pain and Glory.
