Anthony Roth Costanzo is an American countertenor and opera director born on 8 May 1982. He began his career in musical theater at the age of 11 and is a graduate of Princeton University and the Manhattan School of Music. Costanzo has achieved recognition in the opera world through notable accomplishments such as winning first place at the Operalia competition in 2012 and being a Grand Finals Winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in 2009.
