Anthony King: podcast appearances and interviews

Anthony King is an American writer, director, and comedian based in Los Angeles. He has served as a professor and consultant and is affiliated with Force Ghost Conversations. Previously, King was the Artistic Director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. He attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. King has contributed to numerous television shows including Playing House, Broad City, Silicon Valley, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, and Search Party. His theatre work includes writing the off-Broadway musical Gutenberg! The Musical! and the book for the Broadway musical Beetlejuice with Scott Brown. The latter collaboration earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Book of a Musical. In addition, King was nominated for an Emmy in 2011 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special, specifically for Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit For Autism Education aired on Comedy Central. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Kate Spencer, whom he met in New York while both were involved with the Upright Citizens Brigade, and their two children.
