Annie Sloan: podcast appearances and interviews

Elizabeth Ann Sloan, born on 19 June 1949, is a British artist, designer, colour expert, author, and inventor. She is recognized for inventing Chalk Paint and serving as the chief executive officer of her family-run company, Annie Sloan Interiors. Sloan studied Fine Art at Reading University and has authored several books on traditional paints and decorative painting techniques, beginning with The Complete Book of Decorative Paint Techniques in 1988. In 1990, she developed her own line of decorative paint, Chalk Paint, which contributed to her reputation as an authority on paint and colour. Sloan's work aims to support people's creative endeavors through a network of independent stockists and educational efforts. She has been honored as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her services to interior design.
