Anita McBride: podcast appearances and interviews

Anita B. McBride is an American academic and former government official who served in the White House under three presidential administrations. She held the position of Chief of Staff to the First Lady of the United States when Laura Bush was in office from 2005 to 2009. McBride has contributed to the scholarship on American first ladies through co-authoring works such as Remember the First Ladies and U.S. First Ladies: Making History and Leaving Legacies. Currently, she is an executive-in-residence at American University School of Public Affairs. In this role, she directs the First Ladies Initiative, which focuses on exploring the historical roles and contributions of first ladies in American politics and diplomacy.
