Angela Ruggiero: podcast appearances and interviews

Angela Marie Ruggiero is an American former ice hockey defenseman, an Olympic gold medalist, and a four-time Olympian. She competed as a member of the United States Women's National Ice Hockey Team, achieving medals in four consecutive Winter Olympic Games including one gold in 1998, two silvers in 2002 and 2010, and one bronze in 2006. Throughout her career, she participated in ten Women's World Championships, securing four gold medals and six silver medals. Ruggiero was recognized as the best player by The Hockey News both in the NCAA and internationally, and was named the US Olympic Committee’s Player of the Year. She was twice named Best Defenseman at the Olympics and four times at the World Championships. In 2015, Ruggiero was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, becoming the fourth woman, the second American woman, and the only California-born individual to receive this honor. She is the all-time leader in games played for Team USA with 256 appearances. Additionally, she has been inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame and the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame. Ruggiero has served on the International Olympic Committee from 2010 to 2018, including as Chairperson of the IOC Athletes' Commission from 2016 to 2018. Currently, she is the CEO of Sports Innovation Lab and maintains an affiliation with the Hockey Hall of Fame.
