Ángela Indira Evans, born on July 21, 1993, is a Panamanian athlete recognized for her achievements across multiple sports. She is considered one of the best athletes in Panama and is noted for being the only athlete to have represented Panama on three different national teams. Evans hails from the San Miguelito District and is the daughter of Angelo Evans, who played as a goalkeeper for the Panama national football team. Throughout her career, she has played as a forward for the Irish Women's National League club Kilkenny United WFC and for the Panama women's national team. In addition to football, she has represented the Panama women's national volleyball team and was recognized as the best blocker in Central America. Evans has also excelled in flag football, leading the national team to a gold medal at the 2016 IFAF Flag Football World Championship, where she received MVP honors. She secured a silver medal at the 2018 World Championship and a bronze medal at the 2022 World Games, demonstrating her versatility and dedication as a multi-sport athlete. In her current professional pursuits, Evans is affiliated with the Fayette County Attorney's Office and is engaged in a campaign for public office as a Republican candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 116th District.
