Andrew Henry Robertson is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and captains the Scotland national team. He began his senior career in 2012 with Queen's Park and subsequently played for Dundee United, where he was a runner-up in the 2013–14 Scottish Cup. Recognized for his talent early in his career, he was named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year and included in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year before transferring to Hull City in July 2014 for a fee of £2.85 million. During his three seasons with Hull City, he experienced relegation, promotion, and relegation again. In July 2017, Robertson joined Liverpool for an undisclosed fee believed to be around £8 million. His time at Liverpool has been marked by numerous honours, including winning the UEFA Champions League in 2018–19, the Premier League in 2019–20, the UEFA Super Cup in 2019, the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, and domestic trophies such as the EFL Cup and FA Cup in 2021–22. He has also won additional EFL Cups in 2024 and Premier League titles in 2025.
