Andrew Lock: podcast appearances and interviews

Andrew James Lock OAM, born on 26 December 1961, is an Australian mountaineer known for his significant achievements in high-altitude climbing. He became the first and remains the only Australian to have climbed all 14 eight-thousanders, the peaks over 8,000 metres above sea level, completing this feat on 2 October 2009. He is also the eighteenth person overall to accomplish this milestone. Lock ascended 13 of these mountains without the use of bottled oxygen, only relying on supplemental oxygen for his summit attempt on Mount Everest, which he reached three times. He retired from eight-thousander climbing in 2012, having contributed notably to the mountaineering community through his high-altitude expeditions.
