Andrew Gallimore: podcast appearances and interviews

Andrew Robert Gallimore, born in 1980 or 1981, is a British neurobiologist, chemist, and pharmacologist known for his research on psychedelic drugs, especially dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Residing in Japan, he works at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. Gallimore has co-developed a method known as extended-state DMT or DMTx, which involves continuous intravenous infusion of DMT to extend its effects from a few minutes to several hours. This approach aims to facilitate the study of DMT's phenomenology. Alongside researcher Rick Strassman, author of the book DMT: The Spirit Molecule, Gallimore seeks to explore the deeper aspects of DMT experiences. He believes that DMT experiences are not merely hallucinations but represent interactions with a deeper level of reality, allowing humans to interface with what he describes as discarnate intelligent agents. This perspective contrasts with other researchers such as Robin Carhart-Harris, who regard DMT entities as illusions. Gallimore is also involved in ongoing research at Eleusis, a retreat and research center launched in March 2026 on the island of Bequia in the Caribbean. The center focuses on studying DMTx and the entities encountered during these experiences, with its research arm overseen by his non-profit organization Noonautics.
