Andrew Barton: podcast appearances and interviews

Andrew Barton was a Scottish sailor from Leith who lived during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. He is known for his activities as a privateer, conducting raids against Portuguese ships. Barton's actions earned him notoriety in his time, and his life and deeds were memorialized in both English and Scottish folk songs. He was killed in battle on August 2, 1511. Although he is primarily remembered for his maritime exploits, he has also been recognized posthumously in cultural traditions.
