Andrea Anderson: podcast appearances and interviews

Andrea Anderson is the founder and owner of Andrea Leigh Co. Coaching & Consulting and is affiliated with Your Marketing Machines. She has a diverse background that includes a successful athletic career, notably as a member of the United States 4 x 400 meters relay team that originally won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Anderson ran in the preliminary rounds and semi-finals of the relay; however, her medal was later returned following the disqualification of Marion Jones due to doping allegations. The Court of Arbitration for Sport later ruled in her favor, returning her medal. Anderson’s athletic achievements extend to success in both long sprint and short sprint races. During high school at Long Beach Polytechnic, she competed alongside Aminah Haddad and achieved notable placements in California state meets and relay championships. She competed collegiately at UCLA under coach Bob Kersee, securing Pac-10 championships in the 200 and 400 meters and contributing to relay teams that earned high NCAA finishes. Her international accomplishments include medals at the Pan American Junior Games, the World Junior Championships, and the Pan American Games. She also qualified for the 2000 U.S. Olympic team with a personal best of 51.18 seconds in the 400 meters. Anderson’s personal records include a 23.44-second 200 meters. She is the elder sister of football player Marques Anderson.
