Rosalie Anderson MacDowell, born on April 21, 1958, is an American actress and former fashion model. She has modeled for Calvin Klein and has been a spokeswoman for L'Oréal since 1986. MacDowell is known for her starring roles in romantic comedies and dramas, as well as her appearances in independent films. Her early films include Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes and St. Elmo's Fire.
