Amish Tripathi: podcast appearances and interviews

Amish Tripathi, born on 18 October 1974, is an Indian author, former diplomat, broadcaster, and entrepreneur. He is renowned for his literary works including The Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra Series. Since 2010, he has authored 13 books that have sold over 8 million copies and been translated into 21 Indian and international languages. In his diplomatic career, he served as the Minister for Culture and Education at the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom and was the Director of the Nehru Centre in London from 2019 to 2023. Beyond writing, Amish has produced and hosted television documentaries for channels such as Warner Bros Discovery TV, NDTV, and Jio Cinema. His documentary projects include Legends of the Ramayana with Amish, The Journey of India co-hosted with Amitabh Bachchan, Ram Janmabhoomi: Return Of A Splendid Sun, Mahakumbh Tales, and Legends of Shiva with Amish. He has also launched a podcast titled Immortal India with Amish, which gained over 100,000 subscribers within five months. His work in media and literature has earned him recognition, including the Best Factual Presenter award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2025, making him the first Indian to receive this honor. Additionally, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of York in the United Kingdom in acknowledgment of his contributions to Indian literature and fostering global cultural dialogue.
