Amanda Renteria: podcast appearances and interviews

Amanda Andrea Renteria, born on November 15, 1974, is the chief executive officer of Code for America. In her leadership role, she has overseen initiatives such as securing a total of 100 million dollars in commitments through The Audacious Project and Blue Meridian Partners to modernize social safety net infrastructure. Renteria announced this project at TED in 2022. Her professional experience includes serving as a member of President Joe Biden's Advisory Commission on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics, as well as being a member of the Treasury Advisory Commission on Racial Equity. She is also a paid contributor to the BBC and ABC News, where she discusses policy and political issues in the United States. Prior to her current position, Renteria played significant roles in politics and public service. She served as the National Political Director for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and was the Chief of Operations for California Attorney General Xavier Becerra. She made history as the first Latina Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate, working for senators Dianne Feinstein and Debbie Stabenow. Renteria has also run for public office twice, reflecting her active engagement in civic and political life.
