Alyssa Edwards: podcast appearances and interviews

Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson, known by the stage name Alyssa Edwards, is an American drag performer, choreographer, and businessperson. Edwards gained recognition through participation in drag pageantry, notably competing in Miss Gay America 2010. She became widely known after appearing on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she was a fan favorite during and after her tenure on the show. Edwards also appeared on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars and starred in her own web series, Alyssa's Secret. She achieved a significant milestone by winning the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars, becoming the first queen to be inducted into the Newly Constructed International Pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Edwards resides in Mesquite, Texas, where she owns and operates Beyond Belief Dance Company, a dance studio. Her personal life and professional endeavors, including her dance studio, are featured in the docuseries Dancing Queen, produced by RuPaul and World of Wonder, which premiered on October 5, 2018, on Netflix.
