Alex Roy: podcast appearances and interviews

Alexander Roy is an American writer, podcaster, TV host, and rally race driver recognized for his endurance driving achievements. He has set notable records, including the US Cannonball Run transcontinental driving record, which he and Dave Maher broke in 2007 with a time of 31 hours and 4 minutes. This record was featured in the 2019 documentary APEX: The Secret Race Across America. In 2015, Roy announced that he had completed a transcontinental drive across the United States in 26 hours and 28 minutes; however, he later revealed this to be an April Fools' prank aimed at illustrating issues with fact checking in online media. Roy is associated with Johnson & Roy Advisors and is known as a mobility futurist in addition to his driving pursuits.
