Albert Fish: podcast appearances and interviews
About Albert Fish
Hamilton Howard Albert Fish was an American serial killer, rapist, child molester, and cannibal active in the early 20th century. Born on May 19, 1870, he committed at least three child murders between July 1924 and June 1928. Fish was known by various aliases, including the Gray Man, the Werewolf of Wysteria, the Brooklyn Vampire, the Moon Maniac, and the Boogey Man. Throughout his lifetime, he was suspected of being involved in at least ten murders, though he only confessed to three that could be linked to specific homicides. He also admitted to stabbing at least two other individuals. Fish claimed to have had children in every state and once suggested that his number of victims was approximately 100, though it is unclear whether he was referring to rapes, acts of cannibalization, or both, and whether his statement was truthful. His apprehension occurred on December 13, 1934, following which he was tried and convicted for the kidnapping and murder of Grace Budd. He was sentenced to death and executed by electric chair on January 16, 1936, at the age of 65.
