Alan Cumming: podcast appearances and interviews

Alan Cumming is a Scottish actor, filmmaker, and presenter recognized for his work on stage and in film. He has received numerous awards, including a BAFTA Award, five Emmy Awards, and two Tony Awards. In the West End, he won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy Performance for his role in Accidental Death of an Anarchist in 1991, and he was also nominated for Olivier Awards for performances in The Conquest of the South Pole, La Bête, and Cabaret. On Broadway, he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as the Emcee in Cabaret in 1998; his other Broadway performances include Design for Living and Macbeth. Cumming's film credits include Circle of Friends, GoldenEye, Emma, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, and appearances in the Spy Kids trilogy, X2, and Son of the Mask. His television work features a notable role in the CBS series The Good Wife, for which he received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations, alongside nominations for Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards. He also starred in the CBS series Instinct, the Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon!, and serves as the host of the Peacock reality game show The Traitors. In addition to his acting career, Cumming has authored a novel titled Tommy's Tale and published two memoirs.
