Adii Pienaar: podcast appearances and interviews

Adii Pienaar is a South African technology entrepreneur and software developer. He co-founded WooThemes in 2008, a company known for developing commercial themes and plugins for WordPress. Pienaar played a key role in the development of WooCommerce, an open-source e-commerce plugin launched in 2011, which by January 2020 was estimated to be used by approximately 3.9 million websites. In addition to his work with WooThemes and WooCommerce, he established several companies including Public Beta in 2013 and Receiptful in 2014, which was later renamed Conversio and acquired by Campaign Monitor Group in 2019. He co-founded Cogsy in 2020, a company that was acquired by Mayple in 2023. Pienaar founded Ubundi in 2025, a South African AI venture studio. His work has centered on software development, e-commerce infrastructure, and commerce operations platforms.
