Adam Rippon: podcast appearances and interviews

Adam Richard Rippon, born on November 11, 1989, is a retired American figure skater and media personality. He achieved notable success in his skating career, including winning the 2018 Olympic bronze medal in the team event, securing the 2010 Four Continents Championship, and claiming the 2016 U.S. National Championship. Rippon competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, where he finished in tenth place. At the junior level, he was a two-time Junior World Champion in 2008 and 2009, the 2007–2008 Junior Grand Prix Final Champion, and the 2008 U.S. junior national champion. In 2018, Rippon became the first openly gay U.S. athlete to qualify for the Winter Olympics and the first to win a medal at the Winter Games. Beyond his athletic achievements, he has participated in various entertainment endeavors, winning season 26 of Dancing with the Stars alongside professional dancer Jenna Johnson. He guest-hosted RuPaul's Drag Race season 11 in 2019, starred in MTV's comedy series Messyness in 2021, and won the 2023 reality competition Stars on Mars on Fox. Additionally, Rippon joined NBC for the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships to provide broadcast analysis. He was named in Time Magazine's Time 100 list of the most influential people in 2018 and published his memoir, Beautiful on the Outside, in October 2019.
