About Adam Back
Adam Back is a British cryptographer and cypherpunk born in July 1970. He is the CEO of Blockstream, a company he co-founded in 2014. Back is known for inventing Hashcash, a proof-of-work system that is used in the bitcoin mining process. His work in cryptography and digital currency has been influential within the cryptocurrency community. An investigation by The New York Times suggested that he may be Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous inventor of bitcoin, a claim which Back has denied.
